2024 Code Compliance Investigation Online Request Form

Please use this form when reporting a potential violation of Thurston County codes. Please do not submit duplicate requests.

The types of issues Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) investigates are noted below. Information on other issue types is available on the county’s Code Compliance web page. The County compliance process is outlined in Thurston County Code, Title 26.

NOTICE: Public Disclosure of your information is possible. By reporting a code violation, any information you provide may become available through the public records disclosure process (Chapter 42.56 RCW).

2. PROPERTY INFORMATION (Provide information about the property you are reporting)

Use the Thurston County’s Assessor’s Office lookup tool to look up a property address and/or parcel number.

4. PHOTOS

If you have photos to accompany this complaint, please follow the instructions below to ensure the photos are connected to your complaint:

  • Submit a maximum of four (4) photos in one email (do not send separate emails).
  • Photos must be in a JPEG or PDF format.
  • .Submit the photos within two days of the complaint being submitted.
  • In subject line of the email place: 
    “Photos associated with complaint submitted on DATE – Address or tax parcel number of property”
  • Email photos to compliance@co.thurston.wa.us .

Due to limited resources, investigation requests will be investigated based on public health and safety and impact to the environment. Should additional information be needed, a compliance team member may be in contact with you.
